Hayley orrantia was born in the United States. Her main focus is actor, however she is also a singer and songwriter. Many people recognize the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy TV series 'The Goldbergs'. She is primarily a performer. According to her, music has always been her first love. As she grew to 12 old, music was taken seriously enough, that she started professional training. At the age of 13, she started writing her own songs. The first album she released as a cover wasn't released until 14 years after. From then on, she has not looked back. Orrantia is a native of America with Hispanic origins. Despite the fact that she only spoke English growing up and had not been to Mexico Orrantia is happy with her Hispanic origins. To keep her heritage, she's learned Spanish and composed songs that are in Spanish. "Hasta Verte" which is a song with Spanish lyrics which she recorded can be a perfect illustration. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor during its first season, in summer 2011. Orrantia was awarded four "yeses" to the judges in the Seattle live audition stage after being selected from her YouTube submission. She initially auditioned to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. However, three other female vocalists as well as her were brought together for auditions of other songs. They were eliminated during the fifth week during the live show.
