Hayley orrantia was born and raised in the US. She is primarily an actress, but also an acrobat and songwriter. People are familiar with her because of her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television 'The Goldbergs.' She is primarily an actor. Music is her first love, she claims; it's something she has dabbled in since she was only 9 years old. At the age 12, she had taken the music seriously enough that she began training professionally. At 13, she began making music. She recorded her debut album at 14 years old. From then on she's not been back. Orrantia was raised in the USA, yet is of Hispanic heritage. She's proud of the fact that she has Hispanic roots even though she was raised speaking English exclusively and has never lived in Mexico. In order to maintain her heritage, she's learned Spanish and has written songs in that language. The most famous of these songs is 'Hasta Verte,' which she composed in Spanish. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia, who was initially selected from YouTube videos, received an average of four "yeses," from judges in Seattle during live audition phase. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she along with three female vocalists were placed together for the remaining auditions of "Hollywood Week". The live shows were held during the week of 5th.
