She has won four times named the winner of the World Cup overall competition. She is an athlete who has earned a name for herself in American society. She's among only six females in the history of sports to win all five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. They have won an impressive 82 World Cup titles in all. A world-class skier and one of America's most successful ski racers have made the decision to quit after the World Championships that take place in Sweden. The athlete retired following a lengthy list of illnesses. The four-time overall World Cup champion announced her retirement via social networking.
